We were taught a lie of teens having to fit the model of unmaturity and rebellion instead of the biblical model of Honoring their Parents. Now 8 out of every 10 kids are leaving the faith of their parents. Rebellion and boredom are against the Word of YHWH. Responsability, obedience, purity, morality, Love for Elohim ect have to be taught before the age of 13 so we can have teens who won't depart from the ways of YHWH
There is no right age for every circumstance. If you are following Yahweh and He chooses the mate, and He's the center of the marriage it will be ok. If that is not ...the case, then the marriage has problems to begin with. First things first.
If we research the history of education, we'll readily see it. Why is it, just 2-3 hundred yrs ago, that "boys" were ambassadors at 15 yrs old? Captains of ships at 18? Owners of businesses in their teens? Being a teenager is a very new invention.
"Boys" were men and "girls" were women early on because they weren't cooped up in classrooms being artificially surrounded by 30 other kids their same age. They were homeschooled mostly, helped their father in his business or on the farm, girls helped their mothers with the house and their siblings, they learned real life skills, learned how to solve real life problems by watching their parents, and they were around adults so they learned to emulate adults, not another kid.
If it TRULY was about education, our system would be totally different. Truly.
The most important thing is that a young man can work and support a family. A young woman needs to be able to keep a home and understand her resp...onsibilities as a wife. Both need to be firmly grounded in their faith AND as Yeshua was still under the authority of his parents at age 12 even while teaching in the Temple, young adults are just that, YOUNG and need the wisdom of their parents and to remain under that authority until they truly do reach maturity.
Shalom!
