Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found favour (beauty) in the eyes of YHWH. This is the geneaology of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with Elohim.
Genesis 7:1 And YHWH said to Noah, "Come into the arc, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation"
Noah's sons worked for 120 years Shem, Ham (maybe that is why Ham is not Kosher lol) and Yepheth. A man that walked with Elohim. Perfect in his generations, hard worker, obedient and devoted. As a dad Noah seems like he did all he could to walk perfectly and keep the Torah that he inherited from his Grandfather Methushelah and father Lemek and I imagine as they also join in the construction of the arc for 120 years.
Is a line up hard to follow. We see that there where 4 men that went into Salvation (Yeshua) from the whole earth. We also see that Noah's generations had not sin.As soon as they went off the arc and being witnesses of one of the greatest miracles and judgments uppon the whole earth.
What ever happened to Ham? He should know that he had to respect Noah and do not look into his nakedness. His actions brought a curse to his children, granndchildren and generations after.
As Fathers we must stay a step ahead. We think that our children learn from our testimony. We can be perfect Torah scolars, praying men, leaders of our assemblies, reknown men in our jobs and community, rich providers of all their desires and fall short in developing a heart for Elohim in our children. Father, you where a child too! Not many of us can say our whole lives have been righteous. I have not met a man that can say he lived in righteousness, Spirit and Truth his whole life. Fathers and men we are made to be leaders.
Isaiah 3:12 "My people! Youths exert pressure on them, and women rule over them. O my people! Your leaders lead you astray, " and swallow the way of your paths."
You may " I have daughters too" . Do you think it was important for YHWH too to raise modest, respectful, humble and righteous daughters?
Isaiah 3:13 -26 YHWH shall stand up to plead, and is standing to judge the peoples. YHWH enters into judgment with the elders of His people's and it's heads, " it is you who have eaten up the vineyard, the plunder of the poor is in your households.
What do you mean by crushing My people and grinding the faces of the poor?" declares the Master YHWH of hosts.
And YHWH says, " Because the daughters of Tsiyon are haughty, and walk with outstreched necks and seductive eyes, walking and mincing as they go, making jingling with their feet, therefore YHWH shall scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Tziyon, and YHWH exposed their nakedness. In that day YHWH takes away their finery of the anklets, and the headbands, and the crescents, the pendants, the bracelets and the veils, the headdresses, and the leg ornaments, and the saches, and the perfume bottles, and the amulets, the rings, and the nose jewels, the costly robes, and cloaks, and the shawls, and the purses, the mirrors, and the fine linen, and the turbans, and teh large veils.
And it shall be: Instead of a sweet fragrance, a smell of decay; and instead of a belt, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of festal robe, a girding of sackcloth; and branding instead of loveliness. Men shall fall by the sword and your strength in battle. And her gates shall lament and mourn, and she, deserted, shall sit on the ground.
Isaiah 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We shall eat our own food and wear our own clothes; only let us be called by your name to take away our reproach."
Since we know that the judgement of YHWH is linked to the actions of our sons and daughters we must warn them of the actions towards YHWH and the order He left for us to follow. This has been a very controversial and convictive topic. Do you see anything in the context that might say that YHWH has some interest in actions and clothing. Torah has the intructions for living that we must follow to walk like Messiah walked.
1 John 2:6 The one who says he says in Him ought himself also walk, even as He walked.
Romans 11:16 Now if the first fruit is set-apart, the lump is also. And if the root is set-apart so are the branches.
Oh YHWH please do not judge my children by their disrespect and unfearful actions to You. I desire my children to praise you and meditate in your Word of Truth day and night. Please fill them with your LIving Torah so they transgress your commands, statutes and ordinances. Help me raise them and teach in the Way they should go so they do not depart from Your instructions.
We love our children and as they grow they do not stop being our children. The lies that have been taught to us and the understanding that youth need to be approved by other youth has changed the biblical fact that children are an inheritance of YHWH and it is by the authority given by YHWH to us so we instruct them diligently and impress the Torah in them as the Shema says we do. If we obey we will be blessed by the testimony of our children and youth. Continue praying for them and bless them daily in the Name of YHWH.
P.S.If they are 30 and you never have it is time to do it. Love is not allowing them to remain living lives in lawlessnes. Teach by your actions and by the Truth of the Word of YHWH.
Shalom!
