While life might be seen by others as bad decisions or bad luck we see life as a journey as our Shepherd leads us through pastures. There will be darkness and wolves but our Shepherd is there to protect us even in the valley of darkness we shall not fear. (Psalm 23) We have encountered those things since we surrendered to His will and not ours. It does not say that there will not be times of obstacles and storms. Peace is knowing that He is in control in the middle of the situation. We heard pastors and teachers saying that the rich ruler (Luke 18) did not have to sell everything and follow Him and that verse does not apply because this is too radical. We have met people today where they have been confronted with the same situation about having to sell everything while a spirit of fear comes and permeates their thoughts. I imagine that this ruler in front of the Messiah thinking that if he was rich he could use his money for the Kingdom and build a large Synagogue to bring people in and not to have to sit people by the sea and having to multiply a couple of loaves of bread to feed them. I think that Messiah might have planned some other way of living so the disciples be content in every situation. Yahshua taught constantly about the poor and cared for the poor. This may not because they were poor but because they appreciated things more than someone that had it all. I count myself as being blessed; sometimes feel like people do not know what a blessing they have. We did sell everything when we felt YHWH to do so and conviction filled our hearts to step in obedience to YHWH. For many this is still foolishness. Others have asked if we got jobs to settle down. I can say that this is training for what is to come. Circumstances used to teach us a lesson. A couple years ago we were meant to help someone that was kidnapped and called upon our Father in Heaven to help him and save him from the shadow of darkness. This poor servant had nothing but his Creator, his Shepherd to call upon. We had prayed and help him to leave his captors. For many this was foolishness but today we see the hand of YHWH returning in His favor what we did for a poor man. I guess it was a circumstance which YHWH could use to measure our hearts and how much we cared for money. Today we have been provided more than what we gave to save this man. When we first left Florida we said that we had no direction other than the South and we thought it was the Forest in Central America but as the voice of YHWH spoke He had other plans. I still wait to my Shepherd to move us again to a different pasture but He leaded us to this green pasture by still waters. He brought us to a path of righteousness for His Name sake. I fear no evil or lack for He is with us. His rod and His staff comfort us. My cup runs over. Only good and loving commitments follow me, all the days of my life. And we shall dwell in the HOUSE OF YHWH! To the length of days. I prefer to be in need and need His provision than become arrogant when my stomach is full as our fathers did. (Hosea 13:5-6) Even when we think we have it all we are poor and lack of the things that Yahshua taught about for one another. To become one bride we have to become like those in (Acts 4:32) Where those who believed were of one heart and one being having no claim of their possessions but they had all things in common. Yes! Radical for today but all things will be restored. If our Father has to throw all our toys and games away so we become good brothers and sisters and share in love all things that is going to happen. Everything is His and nothing belongs to us. My encouragement is to share a piece of YHWH’s will that we do not want to look at. We might be in a tent tomorrow but a tent is just a practice for the real travel through the pastures, His promises are everlasting we will always have a roof, clothes and food. Surrender to repentance and see the rod and staff upon you and feel His presence. Shalom!!
