We know by now that discipleship is commanded to the Parents not the "church", Assembly, Fellowship ect. We have been seeking the meaning to true discipleship of children and youth for years. We had questions from pastors because they thought that there was a curriculum or method that they could use to grow the church and their ministry would improve. The answer is that this is not a "Christian" thing. The answer is that they were always wrong seeking outside of the homes. We see that the Shema commands the Fathers (parents) in Deut 5-6 specifically in 6:5-9 then we find something that is the key in the second witness we find when Yahshua gave and answer when asked what was the greatest commandment in Mattthew 22:36-40 where He quotes the part of the Shema that becuase everyone knew it because they were Jews that were raised in the Torah understood perfectly. The evidence of this discipleship is in what Yahshua said in John 13:35 "By this shall all know that you are My taught ones (Disciples), if you have love for one another". It is so simple to understand once our eyes are open to the truth. When teens show love for their Elohim, their father and mother, their brother and sister and their neibours and enemies then we are doing a good job in discipleship. Many teens reject their parents, their faith, their younger brothers and others around and give in to peer pressure and society inmaturity take on their age. 8 out of 10 according to Barna Research. If the outcome is discipleship than it is by their fruit that we know they are His disciples. So then we know if they love YHWH if they keep His commandments, John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments. For the world maturity is to finish school, keep a job and have good credit so you can buy a house and get married. For YHWH it is love demonstrated through obedience and honor. 1 Tim 1:5 Now the goal of this command is love from a clean heart, from a good conscience and a sincere belief,... Now I ask "How in the world we can raise children with clean hearts and good conscience if all they get from the world, in schools and TV is dirty, wreched endoctrination to paganism and death. Churches celebrating paganism and doctrines of man that are passed down to our children. Evolution, aliens, sex, rebelion disobedience, search of own belief, love of self more than Elohim, spreading spirits of demons. YHWH asks us to be set apart so our children are set apart also and do not grow like the people of this world loving themselves more than Elohim.
Disciples are known by their Toldot (fruit). Our Generations are our fruit, a gift from YHWH. There’s a beautiful phrase in Judaism; "Toldot‟ei‟hen shel Tzadukim massim tovim". This translates as; "The fruit (children) of righteous people are their good deeds". Children are not just an extension of ourselves; nor, just our future, or our heirs. They are fruit that will bear fruit, that will bear fruit, that will bear fruit, forever. In life, a person may be blessed with sustenance, health and long life, but those only last one lifetime. "Toldot", whether in the form of actual children, students or good deeds toward others, will live on forever; one fruit bearing another bearing yet another, and so on. Then, if you think about your own parents, you come to the realization that you too are the fruit of your father and mother. As you step back in time, you come to the revelation that your parents, their parents and grandparents, going back generation before generation, all the way back to Yitzaq and Rivka, Avraham and Sarah, even Adam and Chawwah; we’re all part of one unbroken chain of "Toldot", of "birthings" and "fruits". So, as the rabbis bless their people, let me say to you; "May you all bear fruit and merit to see your fruit bear another generation, and another".
