Shalom Alecheim!
Another appointed time to rejoice. A year has almost gone pass since we rededicated our lives to walk this narrow path of obedience and closer relationship with YHWH and Yahshua Ha Mashiach. From the thrill of victory to the agony of defeat we have been in a roller coaster. From people that love you how you are to those that critizise you becuase you do not know enough. One thing we can say for sure is that YHWH is in control. We found a treasure and walked in faith. No time for many to do this but YHWH was stronger in His faithfulness than circumstances. Look at this week Torah portion and the verses of Be Strong and good Courage to do what YHWH wants us to do not what fill the desires of our heart. Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
We love what the Living Word says. Although we did not have much to sell but we sold it to buy the Kingdom not another property or house. Not of own desire of being a lord of an estate but an co-heir of the Kingdom.
Now when we approach the feasts after a year of intensive Torah study seekinf treasures hidden in the Torah and finding revelation from the begining we find ourselves finishing the Torah portions and in an appointed time of repentace and renewal. Repentance for years of leaving the teachings that came out of the mouth of YHWH to renew a relationship with our Father. Just as the Prodigal Son we have come back. Now we are renewing not just the Torah but are in complete obedience to our Master, Yahshua HaMashiach. Beautiful relationship of becoming more like Him and now we can find our real beauty, favour, grace. Now we can come back to the teachings and undertand since we demonstrated our love for the Father and the Son we can now fulfill the second greatest commandment to love our neighbour our brothers and sisters like ourselves. 1John 2:9 The one who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now.
1John2:15 Love not the world, nor that which is in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. 1John3:17 If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion--how can God's love be in that person? Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
We know that this are old messages for those that came from the building but is what separate us from the rest. Whe know their fruit by the way they have treated us as we share the truth with them.
Matthew 13:34-35 "A renewed command I give you, that you love another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this shall all know that you are my taught ones, if you have love for one another."
As we Teshuvah/return to Torah we must not loose the heart of Mashiach within us. We can be TO and love one another more than those in the church. Just like our Jewish brothers we can not go just to Torah and welcome Mashiach teachings of love and demonstrate it to one another. This applies to brothers and sisters and marriages in the same light. Love your neighbour like yourself and your family.
1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands.
Let's hope that as we afflict ourseves for Yom Kippur in attonement as YHWH commanded we meditate if we are loving one another as we love ourselves. Let's show it with true love and not jelousy and envy respecting how the Ruach HaKodesh is leading each to a different path but to the same outcome. That way when we dwell together in booths in love we can be a perfect bride becoming one in Mashiach and the perfect love of the Father in Heaven, YHWH! HalleluYah!
Shalom!
